Dr. Emami is a nationally renowned Board Certified Spine Surgeon fully versed in operative and non-operative treatment of adult and pediatric spinal disorders.
Dr. Emami graduated from the University of Chicago where he also completed his residency. He was then selected for spine fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
One of Dr. Emami’s passions is teaching. Being at the forefront in the field of minimally invasive spine techniques, advancements and development has allowed Dr. Emami the opportunity to teach these techniques internationally and nationally to many other spine surgeons. Currently, he is a clinical professor at Seton Hall and NYU and the Chief of Spinal Surgeries at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
Recognized as one of NY and NJ Top Doctors (Castle Connolly) for the past 8 years consecutively, Dr. Emami has earned the distinction as one of America’s Top Spine Surgeons from the Consumer’s Research Council.
A Sports enthusiast, Dr. Emami is also a consulting team physician for the NY Rangers professional hockey team. He resides in Bergen County with his wife and two young children.” Learn more.
Dr. Hwang is a clinical assistant professor at the New York University School of Medicine and an attending spine surgeon at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He graduated with honors from the University of Rochester and received his Doctor of Medicine from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He went on to complete a spine surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Learn more.
Dr. Sinha received his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He completed a spine surgery fellowship under the direction of Frank Eismont, M.D., leading surgeon and Spine Division Chief at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Sinha’s clinical interests include complex reconstruction of cervical/lumbar spinal deformities and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Learn more.
Dr. Faloon is a Board Certified Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon who has joined the University Spine Center team coming from the Hospital for Special Surgery where he was a clinical associate at Weill Cornell Medical College.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Faloon returned to his home state to complete his medial residency and training. Learn more.
Dr. D’Amato is a Fellowship Trained and Board Certified Interventional Pain Management physician.
Dr. D’Amato received her Medical Degree at Saba University School of Medicine. She completed her medical training in the specialty of Anesthesiology at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. D’Amato continued her medical education in the field of Interventional Pain Management at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Learn more.
Kelly Fitzpatrick is a Certified Registered Nurse with additional training under University Spine Center, sub-specializing in spine pathology. She earned her degree as a RN at Bergen Community College and gained her clinical experience at many of our N.J. Hospitals.
Kelly Fitzpatrick embodies all that patients wish for in a nurse: intelligence, compassion and empathy, treating every patient as if they were a member of her own family. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and Certificated CPR instructor. Learn more.
