University Spine Center Medical Staff
Dr. Emami is an internationally recognized board certified spine surgon. He has been named as one of “New Jersey and New York Metropolitan Top Doctors” four years in a row. He was also named as one of “America’s Top Spine Surgeons” by Consumer’s Research Council of America.
Dr. Emami graduated from University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine with honors in 1994 and thereafter, completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Chicago. Learn more.
Dr. Hwang is a clinical assistant professor at the New York University School of Medicine and an attending spine surgeon at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He graduated with honors from the University of Rochester and received his Doctor of Medicine from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He went on to complete a spine surgery fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board-eligible in orthopaedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. Learn more.
Dr. Sinha received his medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. He completed a spine surgery fellowship under the direction of Frank Eismont, M.D., leading surgeon and Spine Division Chief at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Sinha’s clinical interests include complex reconstruction of cervical/lumbar spinal deformities and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Learn more.
Michelle Brenner is a nationally certified nurse practitioner with specialty training in the management of patients with spine disorders.
She completed her undergraduate study at the University of Tulsa, graduating cum laude. In recognition of her academic achievement and commitment to nursing excellence, she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. Learn more.
