Kumar G. Sinha, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in spinal surgery, correction of spinal deformities and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
He is an attending spine surgeon at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway and St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston. He also serves on the faculty for the orthopedic surgery residency program at Seton Hall University. He graduated with high honors from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering. He received his MD degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
He went on to complete his orthopedic surgery residency training at Seton Hall University/St. Joseph’s Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. He completed a rigorous fellowship in spine surgery at University of Miami and received advanced training in pediatric scoliosis surgery at Miami Children’s Hospital.
Combined with his compassion to help patients, his knowledge and his technical expertise, Dr. Sinha is dedicated to providing the most advanced, compassionate treatment for his patients. He firmly believes in listening to patients and taking the time to identify the exact cause of their problem.
It is of utmost importance to Dr. Sinha that patients fully understand their condition and the treatment options available. His primary goal is to decrease pain and return patients to optimal function with an improved quality of life.
